Argaka Village
The hillside above Argaka contain the Paphos forest. This lush pine forest is great to enjoy a walk, or picnic. With the strong odour of fresh pine and wildlife to be enjoyed it makes a great trip walk. The hillside as well as the coast is also scattered with Argaka holiday villas.

Argaka village has a couple of mini markets, to pick up basics, larger supermarkets can be found in Polis town. There are also a number of restaurants and bars around Argaka village, including an Irish bar!

Argaka is a small village around nine kilometres East of Polis and Latchi, on the road to both Pomos and Pyrgos (Kato Pyrgos /Pano Pyrgos)

Argaka holiday villas make the village busy during the Summer months, and the surrounding areas now have many villa complexes.

The main industry for the village of Argaka – on top of holiday villas is agriculture. This can be seen in the fields that surrounds the village with greenhouses, as well as citrus and tobacco plantations.

Argaka beach enjoys summer sunshine, and crystal clear blue Mediterranean waters. The beach itself is made of a mixture of sand and small pebbles. The surrounding beaches of Argaka are also nesting sites for both the Green and Loggerhead turtles.
