Geroskipou village is famous for being home to Cyprus delight production (also known as Loukoumi) Cyprus delights are generally similar to Turkish delights, and they come in a variety of flavours. There are several Cyprus delight factories on the main road through Yeroskipou, and you can go in, visit, and even see the production of the sweets. The factories also produce sugared almonds.
At the village square and church there are several café’s and restaurants to enjoy a cool drink or meal in the village.

Geroskipou Village (Yeroskipou)
Yeroskipou village (Geroskipou) is a picturesque village on the Eastern outskirts of Paphos, a great place for a Cyprus day out on your holiday.
The name Yeroskipou means sacred garden when translated. It is said that in ancient times the village had extensive beautiful gardens that where dedicated to the Goddess Aphrodite. Today the village still has some pretty garden areas around the main square.
One of the main highlights of Geroskipou village is the church of Agia Paraskevi. The church is famous, as it is one of the few churches that has five domes. Inside the church these domes form a cross shape. Inside the church is a typical impressive Greek Orthodox style, with icons and impressive decorations.
