Ensure that you have money with you, as there is a small shop selling religious books from the Greek Orthodox Church as well as the famous Kykkos monastery wine which is produced by the monks.
Just outside the Kykkos monastery is tourist pavilion with a café/restaurant. There are also several stalls selling Cypriot souvenirs and food delicacies such as Soujouko and Pastelaki (the Cypriot nut bars) the tourist pavilion also offers some great views over the Troodos mountains.
If you are on holiday in Cyprus then the magical Kykkos monastery, one of the most important religious sites in Cyprus is certainly worth a visit. Don't forget to dress appropriately for a Monastery.
