The second room contains objects that come from Necropolis (ancient cemetery) of the area. The finds from the Necropolis reveal that the city of Marion (the ancient name for Polis) has historical importance through the Neolithic and Calcolithic periods. Evidence has shown that Polis (Marion) began to thrive in the Cypro Archiac period, where the town forged trade links with Eastern Aegean alirlines, Attica and Corinth. The Polis Museum is a great day out in the Polis and Latchi area.
